Booking Policy/Terms & Conditions

Classes, events and workshops

All classes, events and workshops must be paid for in advance. Bookings should primarily be made through the website but can be booked with Jess directly if the website is inaccessible to you for any reason. Payments must be made via bank transfer - cash payments are not accepted.

Unless otherwise specified, we provide all relevant equipment, but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.

Please note that classes, events and workshops may fill up - guarantee a space by booking in advance via our booking system.

You may be denied entry to a class or workshop for the safety of you and other participants if:

  • you are under the age of 18 - we may request proof of age;

  • you have not booked a space in advance and the class is fully booked at the time of your arrival - please note, I will ask you to arrange a bank transfer prior to participating in the class;

  • you arrive under the influence of drugs or alcohol;

  • you arrive more than 5 minutes late;

  • you demonstrate aggressive or discriminatory behaviour; or

  • you have a medical conditions which impacts on our ability to teach you safely.

It is your responsibility as a participant to notify us of any injuries/medical/health condition which may impact on your ability to practice safely. This includes notifying us if you are pregnant. We may request that you speak with a medical professional such as your GP, a physio or midwife before attending our session, so that we can ensure we can teach you safely. We may request that you attend a private one to one session before attending a group session, so that we can work with you on modifications specific to your injury/health condition, so that you can utilise these modifications in a group session.

Live Yogi with Jess cannot be responsible for the loss or damage to any personal possessions that you bring with you to any class, workshop or event.

Studio rules

  • No smoking or vaping anywhere on site.

  • Phones must be on switched off and/or silent mode and unused during class

  • No children or unregistered guests

  • Shoes must be removed when entering the studio

  • No animals allowed

  • No food, hot drinks, or glassware

Cancellations and refund policy

Class, workshop and event bookings can be cancelled up to 24 hours in advance.

We have a no-refunds policy for missed bookings (no-shows). Our rationale for this: the missed spot could have been filled by another paying customer, and our costs for room hire still need to be paid. In order to qualify for a refund, you must cancel your booking via our booking system at least 24 hours prior to the start time.

If you qualify for a refund (as above), you will be refunded to the same payment method you paid with, i.e.: a refund to the card you paid with, or credit returned to your class pass.

Events beyond our control

While we make every effort to run all scheduled classes, there may be occasions where we need to cancel due to unforeseen or exceptional circumstances, such as illness, building maintenance, access issues, or other events beyond our control.

In these cases, we will notify you as soon as possible via email or text. Where possible, we will offer an alternative class for you to attend. Please note that we do not extend the validity period of class passes in the event of a cancellation.

If the cancelled session is part of a series, you will be refunded the session’s value based on a pro-rata calculation of the full series price.

Waitlist

We run a waitlist for oversubscribed classes and events. Automated notifications are sent to those on the waitlist if/when a space becomes available. This is done on a first-come first-served basis.

Class passes

Class passes must be redeemed before the expiry date. Class passes are non-transferrable and will not be credited if the pass expires. Class passes apply only to classes booked through Live Yogi with Jess and cannot be used towards sessions organised through another provider (for example, sessions booked directly through another studio/gym).
