Introduction

This privacy policy describes how and when Live Yogi with Jess collects, uses and shares information when you contact us, purchase an item from us, or otherwise use our services. This privacy policy does not apply to the practices of third parties (see third party privacy policies for more information on their own practices).

Ways your data is collected and stored

Data collected by Live Yogi with Jess directly

i.e. for any bookings or queries not made through the website. The Data Controller may request:

● Your email address;

● Your mobile phone number;

● Special category data for example details of any medical conditions.

The Data Controller may take photos with your consent and may use these photos for marketting purposes again, with your consent. The Data Controller will always check with you before sharing any images of you on social media or other platforms. You will not be photographed or recorded without your consent.

You may request to be added to the Live Yogi with Jess Whatsapp group, to be kept up to date with class changes, workshops and other useful information. If you request to be added to the Whatsapp group please note that your personal information including name and contact details will be available to other members of the Whatsapp group. The Data Controller cannot take responsibility for how any other member of the Whatsapp group uses or stores your personal data. Acuity

We use Acuity (which is part of SquareSpace) as our primary booking system for classes and other events. The following information will likely be collected by the Data Controller and stored on Acuity:

● Your full name;

● Your mobile number;

● your email address;

● Your emergency contact details, including your emegerncy contact’s full name and telephone number;

● Information relating to payments;

● Any other customer data which is required for us to legally function as a business.

This allows us to identify you, notify you about your classes/events, contact you about anything you need to know in advance of your class/workshop and for insurance and fire safety purposes. Acuity may ask you for further information when you set up your account. This information is held securely by Acuity, and is not commonly used by us.

Additional information may be collected when booking a private session, including special category data relating to medical/health conditions. This information is collected to enable Live Yogi with Jess to provide safe services to you and for insurance purposes.

SquareSpace Payments

Where bookings are made through our website, these are processed by SquareSpace Payments.

Information kept on SquareSpace Payments:

The data controller will likely store the following information here:

● First name,

● Surname,

● Email address,

● Information relating to payments,

● Any other customer data which is required for us to legally function as a business.

You may submit personal data via our website, such as through a contact form or via email. Explicit permission from you is requested before any personal information is shared elsewhere (for example, if you have booked a retreat with Live Yogi with Jess, we may ask if we can pass your contact details and dietary requirements on to the retreat host).

Live Yogi with Jess will never sell trade, rent, exchange or otherwise share your personal information with any other person, company or organisation. Those with authorised access to your data include:

● Service providers: We engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services. We share your personal information with these third parties only to the extent necessary to perform these services.

Compliance with laws: Live Yogi with Jess may collect, use, retain and share your information if we have a good faith belief that it is reasonably necessary to:

Please note that there may be some rare occassions were it is not possible for us to keep your personal information confidential, for example if you share information with us which raises signifiant safeguarding concerns in relation to yours or another person’s personal safety, or if you share information with us in relation to criminal or suspected criminal activity. In that case, we reserve the right to share your personal information with the police or other relevant professionals, without requesting your express consent.

We only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for satisfying legal, insurance, accounting or reporting requirements.
